Terms of use

Recipe Source Card is a personal capture utility. Use it to keep lawful personal notes, while respecting publishers and creators.

Permitted use

You may use the extension to read structured metadata exposed to you on pages you can lawfully access, edit it for personal use, and export personal cards. You remain responsible for respecting website terms, copyright, and other applicable rights.

Not permitted

Do not use the product to bypass access controls or paywalls, scrape hidden data, republish a recipe corpus, or misrepresent someone else’s work as your own. The extension intentionally does not crawl full page text.

Source and availability

The software is provided under the MIT License and “as is,” without warranties. Recipe markup varies by publisher, so an import may be incomplete or unavailable. Always review a card before relying on it, especially allergen, temperature, and food-safety details.

Plus purchase

Source Card Plus is a $12 one-time license for unlimited on-device library saving and reopening. Capture, editing, and Markdown/JSON export remain free. Checkout, receipts, taxes, and refunds are handled by Sociobot/Dodo as merchant of record. A refund or charge reversal revokes the license. The factory may update the displayed currency or equivalent local price before public release.

Your data

Saved recipes are local to your browser profile and are not a backup service. Export cards you need to preserve. Our data practices are described in the privacy policy.

Changes and contact

Material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Questions can be raised in the public source repository.
