A local browser extension
Keep the recipe.
Keep the trail.
Capture the structured recipe a publisher exposes, fix any field in plain sight, and export a clean card that always remembers where it came from.
Manifest V3 · Chrome, Edge, Brave and other Chromium browsers
Transparent by design
No black box between the page and your card.
Recipe import usually hides the interesting part: what the site provided and what the tool changed. Source Card keeps the handoff visible.
-
01
Read the published recipe
Open a recipe page and click Capture. The extension reads only its exposed schema.org Recipe JSON-LD—not arbitrary page text.
-
02
Repair it in daylight
Name, author, yield, times, ingredients and steps open as ordinary labeled fields. Nothing is silently rewritten.
-
03
Take a source-linked card
Export Markdown or JSON. Both formats include the canonical source URL and capture date—even after you edit.
Repairable capture
The edit screen is the product.
Sites publish recipe data in wildly different shapes. Source Card does not pretend otherwise. It shows the normalized fields, gives you the keyboard, and leaves attribution pinned to the result.
- Multiple recipes on one page can be selected
- Drafts survive closing the popup
- Invalid or missing data gets a useful next step
Keep more, once
